Circumcision Rituals

Throughout the month of August, young men and women in Kenya will face an ongoing tradition of circumcision rituals. Many of the young men (and women) will be circumcised, often with the same knife being used on 10 to 15 of them, a procedure that spreads AIDS like wild-fire.
We've worked with our African Team to set up clinics that will have doctors and nurses who can do the circumcisions in a clean environment, helping to stop the spread of AIDS, while also teaching the young men and women why the rituals are not part of God's plan for them.
