God is wonderfully working through our New Fire Team in Kenya!

October 10, 2011

New Fire for Christ is an international ministry with teams in 8 nations. One of those nations is Kenya, where Bob, Mallory, and Brian Boyd are ministering this fall season through mid-December, 2011.  After arriving in Kenya on September 1st, 2011 the Boyds (Bob, Mallory and Brian) almost immediately saw 480 people receive Christ at a championship soccer match. A few days later they had the blessed privilege of seeing over 1,000 people come to Christ in one day, something they've only rarely seen in the history of New Fire for Christ. So far, they have seen over 5,000 Africans come to first faith in the Lord Jesus! We thank God for glorifying Himself in these results!

God has also poured out His amazing grace with 250 young girls from Gambogi Muslim School coming to Christ and 68 boys from Kapsengere High School giving their lives to Christ. They Boyds have also experienced numerous challenges, including physical and spiritual opposition:  food poisoning, many mosquito bites (in Kenya one must take anti-malaria pills), broken-down vehicles, sickness, constant rescheduling, and more. Your prayer covering is very much needed. As the Boyds surrender their lives and creature comforts to Him, they are seeing many Africans surrender their lives to the Most High God!
