Join us in Prayer Against Animistic Circumcision Rituals in Western Kenya

This is a Prayer Alert from Dancun, our New Fire leader in Kenya.

Praise God, I want to take this opportunity to thank Almighty God for His indwelling power! Our major prayer request this season is to resist Satan's animistic circumcision rituals carried on all over western Kenya.

We know the devil is a liar and wants to snatch the Godly seed sown into students' lives for the last eight weeks through the Biblical teaching from New Fire for Christ. Please pray that Almighty God may protect the students' lives and the community from these animistic circumcision traditions. They are evil because the circumcision rites are done on boys (and regrettably girls) with non-sterile knives in the context of unclean spirits.

We are hosting a sports and children campaign in an area where these evil activities are entrenched. We're seeking God to deliver these students from the evil one, in part by keeping students busy through participation in our field program and following through with our discipleship and evangelism programs. We want to encourage the youth and community to develop a strong faith and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

This is unfortunately also the season when immoral activities are all too frequent with accompanying early pregnancies. God has good plans for our students and it is only through your prayers that God's Spirit is released to protect students from all the perils and dangers of this present darkness, to be delivered into His marvelous light of physical, mental, and spiritual health - through our Deliver, the Lord Jesus!
