Our Team

We are an international ministry with teams in 8 nations. Dr. Bob Boyd is the President and Founder (together with his wife Mallory) of New Fire for Christ.  A champion wrestler in high school, Bob graduated from the College of William and Mary.  As a senior in college, Bob met Christ in a dramatic encounter that transformed his life.  Called to the ministry, he attended Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and then earned his doctorate in Biblical Preaching at Asbury Seminary.  He pastored a growing church on the original “Walton’s Mountain” of TV fame.  Then Campus Crusade for Christ International invited Bob to join its staff as a National Speaker.  After 12 years with Campus Crusade, Bob and his wife Mallory began the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association in 1997.  Dr. Boyd and the team now lead large city-wide and university-wide evangelistic campaigns around the world.  Bob has spoken to millions of people in these campaigns and on radio and TV. Countless thousands have become active disciples of Christ. Bob and Mallory live in Norfolk, VA.  They have four sons, Bobby, Benjamin, Billy and Brian.

Mallory Boyd is the co-founder of New Fire and an International Speaker.  She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.F.A. in art and worked as an artist for three years for Athletes in Action.  She met Bob and they married before his last year at Dallas Theological Seminary.  Mallory helped Bob to pastor a church on the original “Walton’s Mountain” in Virginia. Bob and Mallory joined Campus Crusade and Mallory led a discipleship program among seminary wives in Wilmore, KY while based at Asbury Theological Seminary.  Over the years Mallory has led many Bible studies and spoken to thousands at family seminars, as well as founding children’s ministries with tens of thousands in Russia, Africa, India, and Pakistan.  She is a gifted speaker and teacher of the Bible, as well as co-author of The New Life, an evangelistic training tool. Today, Mallory is an award-winning watercolor artist and a devoted wife and mother of 4 boys, Bobby, Benjamin, Billy and Brian.

Administrative Office Staff

We have an outstanding staff team in our headquarters, providing administrative support. Our Office Manager, Jacqueline Kotvas, supervises the staff, vendors, and volunteers who work in our office.

Our International Team

Dancun Omondi leads our Kenyan volunteer staff. Each week we have face-to-face ministry with tens of thousands students in Western Kenya.
